We're about to begin our annual two-week missions emphasis weeks. A relationship we've forged over the years with Kids Alive International in the DR continues to prompt an outpouring of love and service there through many of our school families.
We've heard of some school which have abandoned recess, even for their lower elementary students. Not here! We believe it's a great laboratory for learning the ins and outs of how to build relationships.
There's an initiative underway in Jr. High Multi-Media Literacy (MML) classes that's pretty exciting for us. In an effort to motivate and inform students about incredible STEM career possibilities, Mrs. Tillotson, our Technology Integration Coordinator, has organized guest speakers to come and share the exciting things happening in their STEM fields. Students hear about STEM careers first hand and they are told what skills they would need to become STEM professionals.
