May 15, 2010: it started at 530 E. Harrison Avenue.  Before 9 a.m., alumni and former faculty began the steady stream of visitors to the campus we've called home since 1951.  Responding to our "One Day. Two Buildings" theme, former students came from near and far.  They visited classrooms, laughed with former faculty and staff, recorded special memories of their WCGS days, and gathered for group photos.  Take a look at our photo scrapbook.

Throughout the day, tours were conducted at the new campus on Taylor Drive in Winfield.  At 2 p.m., a brief ceremony concluded with the placement of our new date stone and our Proverbs 1:7 stone which was brought from the old campus.  A new time capsule was placed behind the date stone.   What's in the new time capsule?  We included brochures about the school, our book of WCGS history, this year's and last year's yearbook, essays by current students on what they appreciate about WCGS, current newspapers (including WCGS featured in the 5.14.10 Daily Herald), and a Bible.  An enthusiastic crowd of alumni, school families, and friends of the school all joined in to make this a memorable celebration of God's faithfulness.  Enjoy some of our photos.  http://www.wheatonchristian.org/uploads/1N350banner2.jpg
