Final month of the school year: packed with learning and fun!
|Preparing our students for the future:
First graders participated in career day
recently. Won't it be interesting to see
where God leads them in future years?
School dad Dr. Curtis Harkrider (Northrop Grumman Corp) was a guest lecturer in a recent Jr. High physics class about light energy and lasers. Dr. Harkrider brought along a thermal imaging camera to show how objects/people give off diverse heat signatures that can be detected by specialized equipment.
|Summarizing an important Bible story, illustrating it, and considering its application to life -- that's what our first graders did recently when they studied the story of the Good Samaritan.|
|Dressing up to commemorate Dr. Seuss Day is an annual event at WCGS! Our students -- as well as their special guests -- always enjoy this, along with some spirited reading of Dr. Seuss favorites.|
