An admissions decision and offer of enrollment is preceded by the following required steps:
- Submission of completed Application for Admission with $200 per student application fee.
- Parent interview with the Head of School.
- Preadmission testing.
- In the case of transfer students, an evaluation of student academic records.
- For students entering grades 5-8, an interview with the Head of School.
What about Kindergarten? We are currently accepting applications for second semester 2010 and fall 2011 in our full-day and half-day classes. It's time to apply!
Are there openings in grades 1-8? Due to normal attrition, there are generally openings at each grade level each year. The annual spring re-enrollment process (for continuing students) provides the first indication of how many openings might exist for the following school year. Applicants are contacted as openings arise throughout the spring and into the summer.
How soon should I apply? Since applications are considered in the order in which they are received, we urge parents to apply as soon as they have a clear intent to attend WCGS.
