Thanks to our Auxiliary volunteers, the faculty and staff enjoyed a refreshing luncheon during the busy Pre-school Inservice days.  That's just one of the many ways our parents get involved to serve here at WCGS.

Your child's experience at WCGS will be enriched by your involvement.  Whether as a prayer partner, a classroom helper, a driver for field trips, or a hot lunch server, you'll find a warm welcome from faculty, staff, and administration.  As stated in our School's Educational Philosophy, "the partnership shared between parents and teachers is essential to an integrated and meaningful education."

The Parent Auxiliary includes activities that are geared for spiritual enrichment, as well as for facilitating social interaction, fundraising, and providing needed service activities.  Moms and dads are encouraged to participate.  You'll soon find that WCGS is very much a family environment. (Above right, members of the Faculty/Staff Appreciation Committee provide a special lunch for employees.  This was just one of the many practical encouragements they provided for faculty and staff during the year.)

One of the best ways to get involved and stay informed is to read the Family Newsletter, published biweekly during the school year.

Here's an easy new way to get involved and help the school tremendously if you take pictures at school events.  The Yearbook staff benefits from a wide selection of photos from which to choose.  Follow this link for details on how your photo hobby can benefit our Yearbook.
