Become a fan of Wheaton Christian Grammar School!
Alumni/Faculty. Before we moved from the Harrison Avenue campus, we gathered current faculty who were also alumni. Shown here with Roger Burgess and Steve Clum are Marc Painter (junior high science), Lori (Broman) Bode (half-day kindergarten), Megan Taylor (fifth grade), and Marybeth (Knudsen) Sauter (fifth grade).
Our One Day - Two Buildings- Countless Reasons to Praise God event brought a steady stream of alumni visitors to both campus locations on May 15. We were blessed to see friends from years past. The common themes included nostalgia about the little school on Harrison Avenue, as well as great enthusiasm about our new campus. Enjoy photos from the event on our scrapbook page. And, it's definitely not too late to send along a memory for our archive!
Barb (Armstrong) Westrate '75 has unveiled a project for alumni at the new campus. Read about it and learn how you can be involved.

Current and former Jr. High musical leads: This year's production of "You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown" included a visit from past lead performers. Annie Bowen and Brooks VanderVeen held the roles of Lucy and Charlie Brown in the 2003 WCGS musical. Above, they're shown flanking 2010 performers Katie Mann and John Gemmel.

Grads include WCGS in their wedding album. After 1988 grads Greg Walstra and Ruth Dan got married last November, they scheduled a stop for photos at the front campus of WCGS, demonstrating the special place the school has in their shared history. Ruth and
her twin Audrey came to WCGS in fourth grade, choosing it over other Christian schools they visited with their parents. Greg attended WCGS since kindergarten. Greg and Ruth went all through WCGS and Wheaton Christian High School (now Wheaton Academy) together, but didn't become a couple until years later. Ruth's mom, however, remembers Greg's mom welcoming her to WCGS and Greg asking her questions after she spoke to Miss Bingham's sixth grade class about her escape from communist Romania. Congratulations, Greg and Ruth, and thanks for including WCGS in your special day!
Blake Biddle and Tim Rusthoven, both '06 WCGS graduates and seniors at Wheaton Academy participated in signing ceremonies to accept college athletic scholarships in Division 1 schools.
Blake, shown with his golf coach Bob Broman, signed with UNLV, while Tim, pictured with his WCGS coach Steve Clum, signed with William and Mary. Congratulations to Blake and Tim!
